"An illustration for a story
explaining Einstein's theory of relativity. Part of the explanation of
relativity of motion and the effects of gravity involved the example of
two objects falling together, which are motionless relative to each other.
I chose to portray it with a tongue-in-cheek allusion to Newton's apple,
as if Einstein had discovered his own gravitational theory in the same
way. But in Einstein's case, he would need to be falling with the apple. "Einstein was a natural for this concept. I barely had to make any adjustment to my reference photos to get the hair right." — Jon Fraze |
