"This is a very old piece in watercolor. It lacks the more detailed representational look of my other Science Fiction works.
"There was no assignment behind this concept. Basically it's a sort of fantasy in space, sword-in-the-stone concept. How this guy got to the asteroid from his ship is beyond me ... as is the question of how he's standing on an asteroid which by the looks of it can't have much of any gravitational pull."
