Cash Cow

"This started off as a pink
piggy bank. I altered the snout and the ears to turn it into a cow, then
applied the spotted cow coloring to the surface." — Jon Fraze

The image as it appeared in America's Network
Magazine. The editor wanted to add the compass
dropping into the slot to symbolize 'location services,' but there
was no good way to make the compass readable. If
made it small enough to fit the image scale, or altered it to
look more like a coin with a compass image, the editor didn't
think it was clear enough. We didn't have room on the page to
increase the size of the cow-bank to fit the scale of the compass.
So this was our compromise. |
