"This spot illustration
for Christian Research Journal critiqued the 'faith' movement. The concept
was to show conspicuous wealth making a show of faith. I used a forced
perspective on the Mercedes convertible to draw the eye in to the couple,
who seem distinctly detached from the message of their personalized license
plate. The solid black of their outfits form a strong graphic focal point,
while also giving the impression of formal elegance. The mansion in the
background also suggests opulence." — Jon Fraze |
