was done on an editorial decision to use a headline treatment rather than
trying to devise a metaphor or concept to illustrate the story. The story
considered the question of what new technological advance would change
the paradigm of telecommunications, so a bold question mark was used as
the main graphic element. The colors were left as black, white, and a
