"This example demonstrates the use of an adequate but not-too-exciting client-supplied photograph. I changed the lighting somewhat in Photoshop to get a bit more shadow into the face. Then I darkened the suit, and blended it into a black background (using 'Ultimatte Knockout' to clip the photo's original background away) creating a large dark graphic bar to allow me to divide the page graphically into two clear vertical halves. The headline text forms a chevron which intrudes into both the photo and the negative ground. The limited color palette plays into the flesh tone of the photo — the only clear color in the image." —Jon Fraze
