"Far Forward" section

"This page is intended
to show an entire section: the 'Far Forward' news section of America's
Network. The section title and header design were recreated from
The Net Economy Magazine, which was sold to America's
Network in 2002. The 'Read More' box was also a legacy graphic
from that publication. The rest of the design is original.
"This is a good example of the section design I
tried to accomplish, including photographic elements on (almost)
every page; large clear charts and text sidebars; large, interesting
photos where possible; runaround text; cast shadows (not drop
shadows) to give spot images depth; etc. Images came from a variety
of sources. Maps I created in-house in Photoshop; charts I created
in Illustrator from client-supplied data; headshots were provided
by clients; other photos I gleaned from news services. The satellite
dish I clipped from a stock photo." —Jon Fraze
