"This piece was created
back when I had this notion of putting together an illustrated Book of
Psalms. There are a lot of illustrated Bibles, but no one ever seems to
know what to do with the Psalms. I thought it might work to do a series
of conceptual scenes which realized the poetic imagery and metaphors of
